Metal Zone

So guess what came in the mail the other day? This little thing. Boss Metal Zone (MT-2). I was so excited! I bought it used from finn.no, so i got it pretty cheep. But one of the reasons why it was so cheap was that it can't run on batteries, so I had to wait a couple of more days before I could try it, untill the AC adapter I bought from an online guitar store came in the mail. The adapter came today, so FINALLY I got to try it. YAY! And it was awesome. I know a lot of people don't like these pedals because they don't like the sound. But I love it. (And the guy I bought it from had changed some components to make the sound better, I don't really know what he did, and I'm not sure I would understand even if someone told me. :P )However, it's ten thousand times better than my old amp. And obviously, having better sound will make it a lot more fun to play. So now I am so excited to play. That's fun! :D

And I'm trying to learn where all the notes are on the fretboard. Currently working on the C's. I'm taking one note every week, so it'll take me some time, but I think it will be worth it. I'm trying to apply what I already understand on the piano to the guitar (imo it's a lot harder to understand the guitar). So I found out that the day of the The Devil Wears Prada show, I will be done. (If I can keep it up, that is. Hopefully I will!) Wish me luck..! :P
